Police reported that the bodies of four adolescent males were recovered from a car that had flipped over and was partially submerged in water.
Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson, and Hugo Morris were reported as missing after not being heard from since Sunday morning after their camping trip to Snowdonia National Park in north Wales.
However, the North Wales Police has officially stated that the young individuals, who had journeyed from Shrewsbury, were rescued from the remains of a silver Ford Fiesta.
Officials stated that the car had veered off the road in Garreg village, which is located five miles away from Porthmadog town.
Earlier this morning, a large search effort was initiated which included helicopters, the coastguard, and mountain rescue teams.
Police Superintendent Owain Llewelyn of North Wales stated that officers arrived at the scene and found a Ford Fiesta overturned and partially submerged in water. Unfortunately, the bodies of four young males were found inside the vehicle.
Currently, it seems that this was an unfortunate incident, and our condolences go out to the loved ones of the four young men during this challenging period.

Facebook announced that four teenagers from North Wales, who were students at Meole Brace school, have passed away. Our hearts and thoughts go out to their families, friends, and the entire community during this devastating time.
On Wednesday, November 22nd, there will be designated time and location for prayer at The Trinity Centre at 9am. Additional prayer times will be determined at a later date.

‘Well-thought of’
Harvey Owen left Meole Brace School in the Shropshire town earlier this year and is currently studying for his A-Levels at Shrewsbury College.
During an interview with the BBC today, Crystal Owen, the mother of the individual in question, revealed that she was not aware of her son’s camping trip. She had believed he was staying at his friend’s grandfather’s house.
The teenager has three brothers and sisters.
The head teacher of Meole Brace School, Alan Doust, stated that last year, Jev, Harvey, and Wilf graduated from Year 11, while Hugo graduated the year before. All four boys were highly regarded and familiar to the school community.

‘Truly heart-breaking’
Liz Saville Roberts, a Member of Parliament, expressed her gratitude to the search teams and extended her sympathies to the families and friends of the teenagers. She acknowledged that the news was devastating and as parents, their hearts are with the families and friends of the four young men who lost their lives in this tragic event.
We want to express our gratitude to the emergency services and local mountain rescue teams who participated in the search, as well as members of the public who helped find the vehicle. There are no words that can fully convey the sadness this news has brought to our community as a whole.

Supt Owain Llewelyn, of North Wales Police, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the emergency services and members of the voluntary search agencies and members of the public who have supported us with this search.
Lastly, I would kindly request that the family of these boys be given privacy during this difficult period.
A vehicle was found overturned.
“According to Supt Owain Llewelyn of North Wales Police, a Ford Fiesta was discovered on its roof and partially submerged in water. Unfortunately, four young males were found deceased inside the vehicle.”
The families of the boys who are missing have been notified.
We are thinking of them during this difficult time. Although the search has ended, there is an ongoing inquiry to officially identify the people in the vehicle and to determine the cause of this devastating event.
