The English team maintained their undefeated streak in the European Championship qualifying round by defeating Malta with a score of 2-0.

In the 25th minute, Albania took the lead with a penalty goal scored by Sokol Cikalleshi. However, their joy was short-lived as Vladislav Baboglo of the opposing team equalized the score. Despite this setback, Albania managed to maintain the tie and secure their spot in the next round.
The Czech Republic secured the second spot in qualifying after tying 1-1 with Poland in Warsaw.

Denmark advanced to the group stages in Group H after defeating Slovenia 2-1.
Joakim Maehle gave Denmark the lead, but Erik Janza’s goal just four minutes later tied the game going into halftime.
The all important winner was scored by Thomas Delaney, who poked home from close range to send the Danes through.
Kazakhstan managed to stay in contention for qualification with a 3-1 win at home against San Marino.
The hosts were predicted to earn a total of three points and were making good progress towards that goal until Islam Chesnokov scored two goals, one on each side of halftime.
San Marino scored for only the second time in the qualifying round, as Simone Franciosi headed in a goal from nearby. However, Kazakhstan regained their two-goal lead with a late penalty kick by Abat Aimbetov.
Northern Ireland suffered a 4-0 loss against Finland, resulting in their seventh defeat in the qualifying round.
