Scotland could be on the brink of history at Euro 2024 as they wait to face Hungary in the final round of group games in Group A.
Steve Clarke’s side know a win would take them to four points, and with the four best-performing third-placed teams qualifying for the last 16, victory against Hungary may well be enough to secure a place in the round of 16.
Hungary, who sit bottom of Group A on zero points, know themselves that a win would give them a slim chance of making the next round, despite bruising defeats to Switzerland and hosts Germany.
So, with both teams knowing that nothing but a win will do, expect fireworks in Stuttgart as both sides look to stake their claim to a place in the last 16 at Euro 2024.

60’ – Scotland 0-0 Hungary
Finally McGinn grabs hold of the game and looks to make something happen. He just barrels through two tackles down the right wing, cuts infield on the byline and could shoot form a narrow angle – but instead tries to pull it back towards McTominay who is on his heels and the defender is able to clear.
Something for the Scots fans to roar at, at least.

56’ – Scotland 0-0 Hungary
Szoboszlai rampages forward and spreads play left, with Sallai eventually shooting and striking Ralston’s arm – but it’s by his side and that’s never a penalty. Another corner for Hungary though.
This time the delivery is to the near post and Scotland deal with it well enough.
Who will blink first here? They can’t keep cautious for the whole 90 minutes, of course they don’t want to leave gaps at the back but so far neither look capable of scoring in the current set-ups.

Robertson sets Adams away down the left and the striker cuts it to shoot high and wild – that’s at least their first shot of the game.
A reminder Germany trail to Switzerland in the other game – Sommer has been forced into an early save by Musiala as the hosts look to step up matters.

Sallai turns and shoots on the spin, but doesn’t make great connection – it’s a routine save for Gunn. Hungary have come out quicker and more adventurous looking first in this half.
McTominay thinks he’s won the ball on the edge of the Hungary box but the ref disagrees and it’s not just a foul, it’s a card – he’ll be suspended for the last 16 if Scotland do go through.

Right – we’re back underway and no subs for either side. Goalless so far, a draw no good for either team. Both have to go for it, let’s hope the quality and the tempo picks up significantly.

As it stands, Switzerland are top of Group A, Germany second. Scotland are third but with only two points, which is very unlikely to be enough.

Szoboszlai lashes a left-footed shot goalward with the final act of the half but it’s rising and over. And that’s the whistle, half the game over and done with. Half Scotland’s chance to make the last 16 gone.
No real threat from them despite lots of early possession; Hungary have had the odd opening through set pieces but with both teams needing to win it remains Scotland 0-0 Hungary.
45’ – Scotland 0-0 Hungary
Schafer and Hendry both go clattering into a tackle in the middle of the pitch…the Scot wins the ball and the Hungarian earns himself a yellow card – on the replay that’s a pretty cowardly stamp rather than an attempted tackle and the ref has done very well to see that. Third booking for the Magyars tonight.
McKenna rises to try and head goalward from a dinked cross but it’s off his shoulder and easy for Gulacsi.

Orban HAS to score! Szoboszlai dinks his free-kick over the wall and the defence and Orban has run behind – he nods past Gunn from just four or five yards out but it clips the crossbar and bounces over!
